Like drowning in the ocean 
Confusion in my eyes
Like breathing in slow motion 
A watery demise 
And I cannot tell        
If I am parallel to the sky

Another part of my brain 
Finding things consuming                     
The more I swim through the pain

Like fighting for a feeling 
You cannot hold on to 
The CO2 is stealing 
Everything I once knew 
And I cannot see 
What it’s doing to me, can you?

I’ve got this notion 
That somethings gone wrong 
But the kelp is no help at all 
Cause the ocean 
Will kill you if you are not strong 
Or the luck of the draw
